b. House of Representatives
1) Representation is determined by a state’s population.

3) No term limit.
4) There are 435 Representatives today, as fixed by law in the 1920’s.
5) Today, each Representative’s district numbers approximately 600,000
people.
B. Executive Branch
1. The President of the United States is the executive.
a. Four year term.
b. Two term limited as definded by Amendment XXII in 1951.
C. Judicial Branch
1. The Constitution created the Supreme Court.
a. The Federal Courts that fall below the Supreme Court were created by Congress
and include the Appeals Courts, District Courts, and Specialized Courts.
b. Judges of the Supreme Court and the Federal Courts below the Supreme Court
are appointed to lifetime terms.
