There is a lot of current activity (https://www.politico.com/news/2021/04/20/voting-rights-states-482493)
regarding changing voting policies in US states. Review Voting Policies in the US (https://ballotpedia.org/Voting_policies_in_the_United_States )
(see especially the bottom of the page where the pros and cons are discussed). Are there any conditions/requirements for voting (other than age, citizenship, and registration) that you think should be in place for all US elections? Why or why not?
Someone who is frustrated with the US government comes to you and says: “I am so sick of all the divisions and disagreements in Congress, and nothing meaningful ever seems to get done! I wish the President/Executive Branch could do whatever they/it wants to do without Congress. THEN things would get DONE!” Do you agree with this perspective? Why or why not?
