Arrange a time to interview a healthcare executive/ administrator (CNO, VP, Assistant/Associate Hospital Administrator, etc.) or department director or manager. (Do not grill him/her!)
Prior to meeting with the healthcare executive/director, prepare a list of interview questions based on the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice for Nurse Administrators or the ASRT Active Practice Standards.
