You might wonder what is meant by “theoretical orientation” — This is not meant to involve developing a theory of your own, but rather a form of intellectual commitment to an existing framework. i.e., your “theoretical orientation,”– the theory to which you find yourself oriented. (to put in even simpler terms–which theorists do you agree with? and why?)
