Artifact Project: Drama Unit
For this project, you will revisit ONE of the two stories we read in the beginning of the semester and generate artifacst which represent your understanding of that story.
For this project, you will choose either: The Yellow Wallpaper, A&P or The Landlady
The Steps:
Review the work you have chosen
Watch the two videos of the book in Canvas
Find three academic articles of the work in HCC’s library
Complete research from those sources – 15 tidbits of paraphrased and cited information from each source (about 2 pages of research from each)
Using any of the Adobe products (Spark is free; the rest are free for use on all HCC campuses), generate three “advertisement posters” that are a physical representation of your understanding of the themes in the work. These insight posters are to be submitted as the “Artifact and Presentation.” If you use Spark, this is the “Graphic” choice.
Place the posters into a Spark or Rush video with a voice over to explain them. The presentation should be no longer than two minutes
Complete a five page research based paper that explains how the artifacts relate, the quality of the movies you watched and the themes of the work you chose.
