Make sure to introduce the poet and his/her poetry in general. You can then analyze a particular aspect of the poet’s work overall, i.e. style or theme, and then focus on one or two poems in particular. You can focus on a particular poem and break it down. Use the techniques for poetry analysis to discuss this. You have options here. Your paper should be focused and use specific details and examples from the poem(s) you are analyzing.
