Instructions for each Research Summary:
– Find a theory or concept from the week’s chapter that interests you.
– Do some independent research on that topic and select one empirical journal article related to the topic.
o “An empirical research article reports the results of a study that uses data derived from actual observation or experimentation. Empirical research articles are examples of primary research”.

– Under Database by Subject & Type, select ‘Business and Economics’ OR ‘Psychology’
o If you select ‘Business and Economics’, as a starting point try the ABI/Inform Collection database for your searches (you may also try some of the other databases under ‘Business and Economics’).
o If you select ‘Psychology’, as a starting point try the PsycINFO (Proquest) database for your searches (you may also try some of the other databases under ‘Psychology’).
– Prepare a Research Summary of the article and submit this according to the specified due dates on the syllabus and on CANVAS.
– Use the following format to prepare your summaries. Each summary should be between one and three pages.
