1. Minimum of 8 pages, not including the Works Cited page.
2. Minimum of 5 sources, at least two of which must come from the Owens Library databases.
3. You will clearly identify your claim and the kind of claim it is. You will do this by underlining the claim and indicating after it (in parentheses) what kind of claim it is. If this is not done, or if it is done incorrectly, it will result in an automatic loss of up to three points from the”Development/Argumentation” section of the grade sheet.
Your entire job in this paper is to make a clearly stated, arguable claim and then to support that claim with evidence or appeals or both.
