After completing the readings, follow the instructions below to participate in the discussion about abuse and dependence.

What do you personally see as the difference between abuse and dependence?
Now, based on the readings, imagine you are talking to a friend about your observations of their use or abuse.
How would you explain the differences between abuse and dependence so that a clear distinction is made?
