Give an example of two products that have gone through the four stages of the product life cycle. Each should be from a different industrial sector. How long did it take each to get through or has it even gotten through the entire cycle? Where is it in the cycle? What were the macro factors that may have pushed/are pushing it into decline? Is there anything that marketers and/or companies could have done/should do to change the decline? Give and discuss an example of a product that has been “managed” over time to successfully maintain its presence in the growth or mature stage.
