Description
The Impact of Student Victimization on Immigrant Students This research will investigate how victimization, student bullying, school violence, and disorder influence children from immigrants to drop out of school in the United States. The research will specifically concentrate on students from immigrant families in which the study will derive a sample of the group of individuals who will participate in the study. Probability sampling is the most suitable type of sampling for this study. Probability sampling will mean that every student coming from immigrant families will have a chance of being selected (Boeri & Lamonica, 2015). This sampling technique will produce results that are representative of the whole immigrant student population in schools (Bachman & Paternoster, 2016). Probability sampling will be feasible for this study because it will enable me to make inferences about the whole group of immigrant students on how factors like victimization, students’ violence, bullying, and disorder contribute to them dropping out of school. Probability sampling has several methods of sampling. For this study, I will correctly use simple random sampling, which gives every member of the immigrant student population an equal chance of being selected (Maxfield, 2015). I will use the random number generator tool, which is based entirely on chance. I will first identify the schools which will be- used in the study. I will then select a simple random sample of students belonging to immigrant families of each school earmarked for this study. I will assign a number to every student involved in the study; then, I will use a random number generator to draw out several names of immigrant students that will be used in the study. I will most fundamentally use a computer-generated list to select the sample size because it is the most preferred technique of random sampling. References Madan, M., & Nalla, M. K. (2015). Basics of research methods fo Research Proposal Write a research proposal based on teh discussed project dat you has augmented throughout this course in teh Discussion Board. Identify the problem and question you propose to investigate. Describe teh significance of your study. Discuss the kind of information/data needed to answer your research question and steps you must take to collect the information. Identify the main (key) points established in the literature regarding your problem. Describe the different views the literature presents. Argument about the stakeholders who may sympathize with your research results and discuss what interests and perspectives they could bring. Based on teh literature, identify teh most conclusive (credible) solutions to teh problem you established. Do you find teh literature limiting? Your paper must be concise, well written, and should meet the following: Length: 6-8 pages (not counting cover and references pages). To support your statements, cite a minimum of 5 scholarly journal sources dat are not provided or linked in this course.
