Complete the Leadership Trait Questionnaire (LTQ) available at https://edge.sagepub.com/system/files/Ch%202%20Questionnaire_0.pdf or other approved personality trait assessment. If using an assessment other than the LTQ please email your instructor for approval. The questionnaire is completed by yourself and five other people that know you well. Write a 6-8 page (not including title and reference pages) double-spaced paper in which you apply the results of your trait assessment. In the paper you will address selected differences (between your score and other scores), your selected strengths and weaknesses, the impact of your traits on your leadership style, the genesis for your traits and what leader behavior related changes you want to make. Incorporate evidence and concepts from text and course materials to support your analysis.
The paper must include the four components below. You will use these components as subheadings in the paper:
Analysis of Trait Preferences – in this section you will analyze your scores to include the scores gathered from own and the five other raters. Discuss similarities and differences in scores, what may account for these differences and what do you identify as your preferred traits.
Impact of Trait Preferences on Leadership style – discuss the strengths and limitations of your preferred traits and how they might impact your leadership style.
Genesis of Traits –discuss the source for your preferred traits. Examples include your upbringing, value system, beliefs, attitudes, experiences, etc.
Reflection – What did you learn from this assignment. Will it impact your leadership behaviors, perceptions, etc.?
The paper must be in APA format using size 12 font, double spaced with 1 inch margins. Be sure to proofread to minimize grammar errors, misspellings, incorrect APA formatting, or typographical errors.
