Description
TASK: This topic is of great concern, but there is some debate about it. In geologic terms, climate has changed for millions-billions of years on earth. So, in the big scheme, climate change is natural and expected, regardless of human activities. However, there is no denying that humans have an impact on the planet, and one of those impacts is emission of CO2, CH4, and other greenhouse gasses. This essay should explore the basics of climate change on a geological timescale, the impacts humans are having on climate currently, what the projected impacts in the near future are (if any), and should we alter our behavior/activities. 1) Essay should be 4-5 pages, double spaced. Times New Roman 12 pt font. 2) Correct citations and a bibliography/literature cited section is required, but does not count toward the 4-5 page length requirement. 3) Use any of the following sources: http://www.life.illinois.edu/cheeseman/main/publications/Reviews/CheesemanFoodSecurityQatar.pdf http://www.climatechange2013.org/images/report/WG1AR5_Frontmatter_FINAL.pdf https://www.pnas.org/content/111/9/3268.full https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1748-9326/aa7689/pdf https://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/ https://www.pnas.org/content/early/2015/02/23/1421533112.long http://pure.iiasa.ac.at/id/eprint/11706/1/ngeo2595-aop.pdf https://science.sciencemag.org/content/sci/348/6234/571.full.pdf
