Total Quality Management
This is a research paper that will require the use of the Internet. The research paper should be in the form of a term paper intended to objectively report on the considered adoption of Total Quality Management for Apple Corporation who has recently established a Project Management Office (PMO) for new product development.
The paper should be no more than 5 pages in length (this does not include your cover page). Including references – which are required when referencing your sources of information. A minimum of 5 different sources of information (journals, trade magazines, periodicals, books, etc.) must be used and referenced to support your work.
The paper should at a minimum include the following (with clearly marked bold headers for each section below):
1. Overview of Total Quality Management (what is it)?
2. Advantages from a business and project management perspective – why should they implement Total Quality Management and how will it positively impact their PMO and product development projects?
3. Concerns/Issues from a business and project management perspective – what problems might occur if they implement Total Quality Management?
4. Your recommendation to Apple Corporation – should they implement Total Quality Management? Why or why not?
