You are required to simulate the effects of energy storage and a StatCom on a network with varyingpower factor and load characteristics. You will be investigating the difference in performance of thenetwork when exposed to different load characteristics, energy storage and a StatCom device. Thesimulations you will be conducting are sections of existing commercial infrastructure. Loadcharacteristics for buildings should be assumed based on probable loads; e.g. technology buildingsmay contain numerous computers and florescent lighting.
