Leadership approaches in action
For this assignment, you will research three leaders in different professional fields, such as education, medicine, government, business, or nonprofits. Be mindful to select leaders with whom you can identify as having a working self-concept that may influence the leadership approach explored in this module. Analyze each leader’s leadership style, and keep in mind that this style may fit better under another theory. Describe the leader’s organizational effectiveness, and explain how the leadership style changed/impacted followers in the leader’s organization. Instructions: Write a critical analysis in which you study each leader’s approach to leadership and its impact on the followers in an organization. Compare and contrast these leadership styles and how leadership applications impact organizations. Link your findings to current research. Finally, highlight your understanding about leadership and note any gaps in your knowledge about cognitive psychology literature based on your research.
