(Hint: Think about the notion of moral responsibility and the conditions that are typically required for full responsibility, Think of Al’s situation. How much is he to “blame” for his predicament?) (4) Consider the film Memento. 2000, by Christopher Nolan. Analyze “Lennie” in terms of the various theories of personal identity discussed in chapter 5. What theory is the film-writer probably promoting? Why?
